PRIMARY ASSUMPTIONS:
1. The location of the new hall will be the result of the relation between the existing buildings.
2. The distribution of functions between the buildings is set to create a convenient layout for their everyday function as the house of Sinfonia Varsovia. It is also meant to aid the organisation of the most prestigious and diversified artistic events.
3. All buildings that comprise single elements of the entire plan will be connected in a way ensuring comfortable and collision-free communication.
4. The spaces creating the squares between the buildings will be of a functional and open character. They will create a sense of continuity between old and new architecture in a clear way.
5. The SV building will unequivocally maintain its contemporary character. Adapted to the prestige of the functions that are hidden inside it, the building will be a reference to the neighbouring structures, which will be reflected in its form.
6. The architecture of the new hall will be a clear reflection of the three zones where life will go on:
A. Zone for guests and music lovers - open to the surroundings.
B. Zone for musicians and staff, of which closure aids work and concentration.
C. Art zone - the heart of the building made up of a concert hall towering over the body of the building
